As we bring the autumn season to a close, we take a moment to reflect on another dynamic and impactful semester at the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF).
The second half of 2025 has been marked by continued academic growth, new collaborations, innovative programmes, and meaningful engagement with professionals, students, and the wider community.
Building on the momentum of our 10th anniversary year, this semester further strengthened our role as a leading provider of professional training and higher education in Cyprus and beyond.

Lifelong learning remains at the heart of EIMF’s mission. Throughout the second semester, we continued to deliver complimentary webinars and professional events designed to keep professionals informed, connected, and equipped for evolving challenges.

• Breakfast Event: Leading Through Change: Agile Leadership & AI-Powered Productivity
This autumn, EIMF hosted an exclusive breakfast event for HR, Learning & Development, and Compliance professionals, focusing on leadership adaptability and AI-driven productivity. The session featured two practical presentations:

• Getting Better Results with AI through Better Prompts and Practical Tools
Over breakfast and networking, participants gained actionable insights applicable across industries navigating regulatory, technological, and organisational change.
• Insights Through Our Free Webinar Series
EIMF’s webinar series continued to support professional learning throughout the autumn semester, offering timely insights across a wide range of disciplines. The numerous sessions addressed current regulatory, professional, and workplace challenges, with expert speakers sharing practical perspectives, including Financial Storytelling: Turning Numbers into Strategic Narratives, ESMA’s MiCA Guidelines on Knowledge and Competence, Achieving Effective Compliance & Integrity: The ISO Approach, The Future for Third-Country Banks in the EU, Beyond Burnout: Mental Resilience and Balance, Introduction to Negotiation: The Basics That Matter, and The Evolving Landscape of Modern Marketing, to name just a few. Across the semester, these webinars attracted strong participation, reinforcing the value of accessible, high-quality professional learning.
Advancing Learning & Expertise
The autumn season also welcomed new training programmes and new members of the EIMF trainer community, further enriching our expertise and expanding our subject coverage in response to evolving market needs.
This semester featured over 160 programmes, combining EIMF’s most popular courses with 30+ brand-new offerings, new collaborations, and broadened expertise across a wide range of areas, from regulatory updates and their practical application to specialised learning for investment firms, banks, EMIs, fund professionals, lawyers, and accountants, just to name a few. Emphasis was also placed on essential learning such as AI, management, and soft skills critical for professional success in today’s demanding environment. Fully funded courses further enriched this season’s portfolio, covering key areas including Risk Management, ESG, and Succession Planning.
Conferences & Professional Collaboration
• ACAMS Cyprus Chapter: A Decade of AML Progress and a Future of Resilience
EIMF proudly supported the ACAMS Cyprus Chapter’s 10-year anniversary conference, bringing together regulators, compliance professionals, and international experts.
The event highlighted Cyprus’s AML/CFT progress, explored emerging risks, and offered a full day of learning, networking, and collaboration, reinforcing the value of shared knowledge and professional resilience.
Converging Risks: EIMF’s Participation
EIMF proudly supported its partners at AGRC by participating in the Converging Risks: A 360° View of Risk Management Today conference. The event brought together financial services leaders to explore emerging challenges, rom geopolitical shifts and AI-driven cyber threats to ESG pressures and crypto volatility. Attendees gained practical frameworks for managing risks across people, operations, and reputation, while connecting with regulators, industry innovators, and risk experts. EIMF’s involvement reflects our commitment to fostering knowledge exchange and professional development in the ever-evolving risk landscape.
AccountingWise: Ethics, Compliance, and Professional Awareness
The EIMF AccountingWise initiative continued to provide platforms for professional reflection and dialogue, ensuring ongoing learning and supporting individuals as they consider their career paths and ethical responsibilities within the accounting and finance profession.
Expanding Academic Horizons
EIMF’s academic school continued to grow, reflecting its commitment to delivering high-quality, professionally relevant higher education. EIMF welcomed prospective students to its premises through a dedicated Open Day, offering an opportunity to explore academic pathways and engage directly with programme coordinators and faculty members.
Attendees learned about curricula, teaching methods, assessment approaches, and funding opportunities across EIMF’s academic programmes, making it an insightful and engaging experience.
• EIMF Partners with the FEDE Network for Global Collaboration
A significant development this semester was EIMF’s admission to the Fédération Européenne des Écoles (FEDE). This milestone strengthens EIMF’s international academic positioning enhancing opportunities for student mobility, cross-border collaboration, and internationally recognised qualifications.
• Launch of a New Academic Programme
A key milestone of the autumn semester has been the recent launch of EIMF’s Online Master in European Economic Governance and Policy, expanding our academic portfolio and reinforcing our commitment to accessible, internationally relevant education.
Designed for working professionals and international students, the programme addresses critical developments in EU economic governance, regulation, and policymaking.
• Student Cohorts and Learning Experiences
The season welcomed a new cohort of students for the Master’s in Governance, Risk and Compliance (MGRC) and the Diploma in Accounting and Financial Management (DipAFM). Teaching was enriched by guest speakers from industry, reinforcing the practical dimension of EIMF’s academic programmes and providing students with a unique and applied learning experience.
• Academic Leadership and Research Initiatives
Faculty members remained actively engaged in international research and networking activities, reinforcing EIMF’s commitment to academic excellence and global collaboration. Notably, Professor Panikkos Poutziouris participated in the 8th International Family Business Research Forum in Casablanca, while EIMF Academic Director Dr Adonis Pegasiou contributed to EU-funded research projects at Sofia University and the University of Warwick, supporting comparative studies and knowledge exchange across borders.
Community Engagement
• Knowledge for the Community
Building on the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year between EIMF and the Municipality of Strovolos, the autumn season brought practical, accessible knowledge to the wider community through the Citizens in Knowledge” Initiative.
During the 60-minute Personal Financial Management session, designed to change the way participants think about money, participants received practical tools, step-by-step guidance, and actionable strategies to confidently manage their personal finances, reflecting EIMF’s ongoing commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering financially resilient communities.
• Giving Back this Christmas
In keeping with the values of compassion, solidarity, and community, EIMF is marking the festive season by making a Christmas donation to the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation, in lieu of gift sharing.
The Foundation’s mission to support children with oncological and haematological conditions, and their families, closely aligns with our belief in creating positive and meaningful social impact beyond education.
New Horizons Cyprus: Thriving Digital Skills and Professional Growth
EIMF Holdings Ltd, in collaboration with EIMF Technology Institute Ltd (New Horizons Cyprus), continues to advance digital and professional skills across Cyprus. Building on the success of earlier initiatives, the joint venture has expanded its portfolio to include a broader range of fully funded programmes addressing emerging needs in cloud computing, data analysis, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
New offerings include training in Microsoft Power BI and Fabric, Microsoft Security and Azure, CISSP and CompTIA certifications, as well as specialised programmes in Python, PRINCE2, and ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and NIS2 compliance.
Supported by the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan and the European Union’s NextGenerationEU programme, these initiatives further reinforce EIMF Technology Institute’s role in equipping professionals and organisations with the skills required in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Looking Ahead to an Inspiring Spring Season
EIMF is pleased to unveil an exciting Spring training calendar, thoughtfully designed to support professionals as they navigate an increasingly complex business, regulatory, and organisational environment. The upcoming season brings together advanced technical expertise, practical regulatory insight, and people-focused development, delivering learning that is both relevant and immediately applicable in today’s workplace.
The Spring calendar features programmes covering a wide range of key areas, including advanced taxation and transfer pricing, securities dealing and risk management, and international wealth management – the latter offering a pathway to a CISI professional certification. The portfolio also includes specialised learning for non-executive directors, audit and compliance professionals, and those responsible for safeguarding client funds and managing unclaimed assets.
Strong emphasis is placed on strategy, innovation, and organisational resilience, with focused training in operational, technological, and enterprise risk management, complemented by programmes in assertive communication and effective feedback, productive and purposeful meetings, and advanced sales and customer experience development, ensuring a balanced approach to technical excellence and vital professional skills.
